Dr. Dog made a pretty big decision to go “outside their camp” to produce their latest album “Shame, Shame.” With all of their own ideas run into the ground, it was time to get another ear and voice involved.
Dr. Dog Performs In-StudioThey also wanted to bring the energy of a live show onto a record. Rob Schnapf was tapped for the gig, and to make it still feel like a “home record” they stayed east, as opposed to heading west where Rob generally would work. Dreamland studios in Woodstock, NY was chosen.
For this Last.fm Discover / Energizer Series session they chose to do “Station” and “I Only Wear Blue.” They also went with our request of “Someday” which has been getting a lot of play on Last.fm Discover.
