Minus the Bear – Summer Session Number 2

If you seek a band whose music spews “summer,” look and listen no further than this week’s Summer Sessions artist. Hailing from Seattle, WA, Minus The Bear‘s latest album “Omni,” their first for indie powerhouse label Dangerbird, was released early last month. Imagine Todd Rundgren, Tears For Fears, Hall & Oates, Papas Fritas and Steely Dan mixing it up and coming out as one.

Somehow, I feel like the acoustic doesn’t really transfer over with Minus The Bear… Maybe I’m just not a fan of this new album they put out…

Who mixes these sessions? Every band sounds equally terrible.
