September 9, 2009 was the first time Last.fm Discover opened it’s studio doors to an artist to come in and record a session. It’s was all new to us and very primitive. Despite taking over and using one of the most famous radio & TV studios (The Howard Stern Show), we had very little to work with. But we we attempted to make this the beginnings of a great room and to make it memorable for all of our guests.
In the early days of Discover sessions, we would have the artists huddled around the 3 microphones that were part of the on-air board.

On this day, Erlend and Eirik from the folk-pop duo Kings Of Convenience, would join us and play some songs from their forthcoming album Declaration Of Dependence. We lacked equipment and manpower. So, there were no pictures taken and no video captured for the performance and interview. But we do have the audio to prove it happened!
“24-25″ live at Last.fm Discover.

Or you will just scare me away
What we built is bigger than the sum of two
But somewhere I loose count of my own
“Me In You” live at Last.fm Discover.
To pass and look back at goals I've missed
Rainbows or burning bridges
If you squint a little more it looks the same
But ooooooooooooooooooooooooh
