Last.fm Discover gladly welcomes back a band that inspired and influenced many of the emo and punk-pop bands that pretty much ruled alternative radio throughout the late ’90′s and most of the ’00′s. The second album from The Get Up Kids, 1999′s Something To Write Home About stands out as a classic in their discography. The new album There Are Rules, the first in nearly seven years is now out. Last week they stopped by to play four new songs and I chatted with Jim and Matt as well about the new disc and their triumphant return.

“Automatic” live at Last.fm Discover.
