Matt Nathanson

Matt Nathanson is a perfect example of an artist with patience, dedication and perseverance. Add to the fact that this 38 year-old soulful pop-rocker  is a pure music fanatic, it’s no wonder that he continues to grow after all these years.

In 2007 Matt Nathanson released his  sixth studio album Some Mad Hope, which featured the breakout track ”Come On Get Higher,” His debut Please, was released in 1993. There was a nice sorta sense of like, validation that I went into this record with that I've never had.

After nearly 3 years of touring and promoting the heck out of his last album, Matt took himself off the road to start work on the all important follow-up. The resulting Modern Love album is now out. Join Matt in this Summer Session as he plays and discusses this new disc.

Matt’s new album is available at Amazon on vinyl and CD as well as iTunes.
