Chris Glover, the man behind the music project Penguin Prison, stopped by our studio for a Street Date and Last.fm Presents session. Later in the week in our interview, the native New Yorker will explain how one of the most promising new acts in music came together. This was a case of a good song idea growing into a full-blown concept for a band. Glover didn’t set out to start Penguin Prison, but in the magical way that things happen when a good idea is born, his exciting solo compositions quickly grew into something that cried out for the support of a full live band. Check out the first of three songs that Chris did acoustically, the song behind the Occupy Wall Street-themed video.
“Don’t F@#k With My Money”
went up to you after, will you come home with me?
I know what your thinking that ain't my concert
we can be together but your gonna have to learn
Chorus:
“Golden Train” comes your way tomorrow
